Darth Vader
Following catastrophic injuries sustained on Mustafar, Darth Vader demonstrated remarkable adaptation to his cybernetic condition. His suit compensates for the loss of three limbs and severely compromised respiratory function. He has modified his lightsabre combat style to accommodate his mechanical limitations, developing a defensive technique emphasising power over agility. However, his adaptability remains constrained by the fixed nature of his apparatus. Software updates are not available. His operating parameters were established in approximately 19 BBY and have remained largely static since.
The Internet
The Internet's adaptability represents perhaps its most remarkable characteristic. From its origins as ARPANET in 1969, it has evolved through dial-up, broadband, mobile, and satellite connectivity. It has absorbed radio, television, telephony, and postal services into its architecture. When one pathway fails, traffic routes automatically through alternatives. New protocols emerge continuously: HTTP gave way to HTTPS; IPv4 to IPv6. The Internet adapts to censorship through VPNs, to bandwidth limitations through compression algorithms, to human attention deficits through algorithmic curation.
VERDICT
The Internet dominates through continuous evolution versus Vader's static configuration.
